For, well, everyone.

When looking for a hosting provider for your website, there are several key features to consider. These include uptime, bandwidth, storage space, and customer support.

A good hosting provider should offer high uptime, meaning that your website will be accessible to visitors most of the time. Bandwidth and storage space are also important, as they determine how much traffic and content your website can handle. Finally, good customer support is essential in case you encounter any issues with your hosting service.

Shared hosting

Websites, email and WordPress.

Which control panel do you use?

cPanel, the standard one. If you have used shared hosting before, it is the interface you already know, and it means your backups are portable to any other cPanel host.

Can I run Node.js, Python or Ruby, or is it PHP only?

All of them. Our shared servers run the CloudLinux application selectors, so you can deploy Node.js, Python and Ruby apps from cPanel alongside PHP. A lot of shared hosting cannot do this, so it is worth checking against anyone you are comparing us with.

How many sites and how much storage do I get?

Starter is one site on 10 GB. Pro is ten sites on 25 GB. Business is thirty sites on 40 GB. All three include unmetered bandwidth, free SSL and daily backups.

Do I get a free domain?

On Pro and Business, yes, for the first year on an annual term, from a set list of common extensions shown at checkout. Starter does not include one. After the first year the domain renews at its normal price, which we show you up front.

Is email included?

Yes. Starter includes ten mailboxes and Pro and Business are unlimited. Bear in mind that shared hosting email is best suited to normal business correspondence rather than bulk sending, which our acceptable use policy covers.

Getting started

New here? Start with these.

How quickly will my service be ready?

Shared hosting and game servers are set up automatically, usually within a couple of minutes of payment clearing. VPS builds normally complete in under ten minutes. Dedicated servers are provisioned by hand and we will give you a firm time when you order.

Can I pay monthly, or do I have to commit to a year?

Monthly is the default and it is fine. Quarterly, six monthly and yearly terms are also available on hosting, and the longer you commit the less you pay per month. The exact saving is shown against each term when you order, because it is worked out from that the yearly discount on that particular plan rather than a flat site-wide number.

Nothing is locked in. You can cancel at the end of any term, and domains are the one exception to the choice: registries price them per year, so they are sold yearly only.

Does the price go up when it renews?

No. Hosting renews at the same price you signed up at. We do not run an introductory rate that jumps later. Domains are the one exception, because registries set their own renewal prices and some are much higher than the first year. Every domain shows both prices before you buy.

What happens if a payment fails?

Nothing immediately. Your card is retried automatically, and the service keeps running for three days. If it is still unpaid after that the service is suspended, not deleted, and your data stays put. Pay the invoice and it comes straight back.

It does not stay suspended forever. A service that is still suspended and unpaid 14 days later may be terminated and its data deleted, because we are still paying for the machine it sits on. We email you before that happens, and once the data is gone we cannot get it back. If you are in difficulty, open a ticket before the deadline rather than after it, and we will work something out.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, on your first order of a hosting plan, and the window matches the term you chose: 7 days monthly, 14 days quarterly, 21 days on six monthly and 30 days yearly. A refund window as long as the term would just be a free term, and we pay for the machine either way.

Domain registrations are never included, because the registry fee is spent the moment the name is registered and cannot be recovered by us.

Can I move an existing site to you?

Yes. Shared hosting is standard cPanel, so a cPanel backup from your current host restores directly. If you are coming from something else, open a ticket and we will tell you honestly whether it is straightforward before you commit.

Security and privacy

What we hold and how.

Do you store my card details?

No. Payments run through Stripe and your card details go to them directly. We store an identifier so we can bill the correct card and nothing more, so we could not read your card number if we wanted to.

Is SSL included or an extra?

Included free on every hosting plan, issued and renewed automatically. We do not sell certificates separately.

How are my passwords and server credentials stored?

Account passwords are hashed, so nobody here can read them. Server and panel credentials are encrypted at rest and only decrypted on the one path that displays them to you.

Who can see my account if I add a team member or a developer?

Only what you grant. A manager can run your services and place orders but can never see or use your payment details, and you can remove their access at any time from your account settings. Billing stays with you.

Partner programme

For developers and agencies.

How much do I earn, and on what?

20% of the gross margin on every invoice your client pays, for as long as they stay. Margin means what is left after our server cost and card fees, so it is a share of profit rather than of the sale price. Domains are excluded because the margin on them is pennies.

How long does my referral link last?

90 days. Once a client signs up, the credit is attached to their account permanently, so renewals keep earning whatever happens to the cookie afterwards.

When can I actually get paid?

Commission clears 30 days after your client pays, which covers the refund window, and then you can request it. There is no minimum. Payment by PayPal, bank transfer, Remitly, crypto, or as credit against your own invoices.

Is there an API?

Yes. You can create client accounts, place orders, restart their servers and open their control panel from your own tooling, and receive signed webhooks when a client pays. The reference is at /api/docs.
