About PanicHost

A small hosting company that answers the phone at 2am and charges the same price at renewal.

In short

Three things we will not do, and one we always will.

$0

Renewal surprise. The price on the order page is the price in year three. We give 30 days notice before anything changes.

0

Per-player fees on game servers and no SSL upsell on anything. You pay for the machine, not for the people who use it.

24/7

A person, not a bot, by ticket, email or the chat in the corner. If something is our fault we say so.

Who we are

PanicHost LLC, a Colorado company, run by people who host their own projects on the same servers.

We started because the hosting we were paying for kept getting worse at renewal time and better at marketing. Shared hosting runs on our own cPanel servers. VPS and dedicated capacity comes from data-centre partners who give us an uptime commitment we pass on to you. Game servers run on our own nodes with a panel built for them.

How we price

Every plan carries its real cost and a margin we can defend, so we never need an introductory rate.

Big hosts sell a $2.99 first year and a $14.99 renewal. We sell one price. Where a product is thin on margin, like domains, we say so rather than hide it in the small print. Our partner programme shares profit with the developers who bring us clients, which only works because the numbers are honest in the first place.

What we promise

Free SSL, free migration, a money-back guarantee, and terms you can read in one sitting.

If your first order is not what you wanted, tell us within 7 days on a monthly plan or 30 on a yearly one and we refund it. Money, not credit. VPS and dedicated servers carry a 99.9% uptime commitment with credits written into the terms, not a badge on a banner.

What we run

Four products, each with its own page and its own prices.

Websites and email

Real cPanel shared hosting with WordPress, Node.js, Python and Ruby, daily backups and a free domain on yearly plans. Shared hosting.

Servers

Shared and dedicated vCPU VPS with root access, and whole machines when you need one. VPS and dedicated.

Game servers

Sixty-plus games, sized by memory rather than by player count, with a panel, backups and mod support. Game servers.
